In that spirit, South Florida Pets debuted Jan. 1, 2011 to the delight of local pet owners.
The monthly print publication is distributed to Broward's waterfront homes east of the Intracoastal along with its sister newspaperWaterfront Times, and delivered separately to South Florida's pet stores, vet offices, groomers, pet shops, city halls and community centers.
We feature articles written by seasoned journalists on everything from local laws affecting pet ownership to lifestyle features on our pets' health in South Florida's subtropic climate.

Our Pets & Peeps column features South Florida residents and a unique variety of pets. We also provide a community calendar listing social activities and events for animals and people, along with a listing of dog-friendly parks and beach areas where romping and swimming is encouraged.
